Hena president, Munnu secretary
A 101-member committee of Goalundo Upazila unit of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), has been elected by councilors with Abu Hena Sydur Rahman as president and Munnu as general secretary.
Gulzar Hussain has been elected as a vice president and Badir Uddin organising secretary, according to a reliable source.
The council recently held in Goalundi Upazila auditoriam, was inaugurated by Abdul Matin, convenor of Rajbari district BNP. Ali Newaz Khaium, M.P. was present as a chief guest at the meeting.

Report from Rajbari: An old man was killed in a road accident near Jamidar Bridge on Daulatdia-Faridpur Highway Friday.
Hatem Ali, 80, of Goalanda pourashava died on the spot as a Madaripur bound bus from Daulatdia knocked him down at about 10:30am while he was crossing the road.
The body was sent to hospital morgue for autopsy. A case was filed with the Goalanda police.

Mr. Dulal Choudhury and Nurazzaman Miah has been re-elected as president and secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, Goalundo Upazila unit.
The council recently held in Goaludno and all officials were elected by delegate's secret ballot.
